Course Overview
B.Sc. Optometry is a 3-year science degree that trains you to assess, diagnose, and manage vision disorders without a medical degree. Optometrists are primary eye care providers who work independently in clinics, eye hospitals, and vision care chains. With rising screen time, diabetes, and an ageing population, India's demand for qualified optometrists is at an all-time high.
At Abhaya Institutions, the B.Sc. Optometry programme is delivered on a state-of-the-art vision science lab equipped with refraction suites, tonometry equipment, fundoscopy instruments, and dispensing training. Students complete a 6-month clinical internship at our attached eye care facility.
